Die Hard Jets Fan

The Jets signed CB Manny Collins, WR Chris Davis, QB Brett Ratliff, Jason Trusnik, OL Robert Turner, S Raymond Ventrone, and RB Danny Ware to their practice squad. 

Today, they also named their team captains, on offense Chad Pennington and Laveranues Coles.  On defense, Shaun Ellis and Jonathan Vilma.  The Jets named Mike Nugent and Brad Kassell on special teams.

The Jets released their players yesterday to 53. Those players are: LB Anthony Schlegel, OL Marko Cavka, CB Manny Collins, LB Blake Costanzo, WR Chris Davis, OL Na’Shan Godard, CB Alphonso Hodge, WR Frisman Jackson, OL Dominic Moran, WR Evan Prall, QB Brett Ratliff, S Jamie Thompson, LB Jason Trusnick, OL Robert Turner, S Raymond Ventrone, and C Joe Villani.  The Jets also let go players like Kimo Von Oelhoffen because his performance wasn’t what it should have been.  They also let running backs like Danny Ware and Alvin Banks go.  In my opinion, the Jets should of kept Danny Ware because his ability run the ball was terrific.  Danny had three good games carrying the ball.  Eric Mangini also let veterans like Andre Wadsworth, Bobby Hamilton, and Micheal Haynes go.
