. During Mondays practice Jerricho Cotchery injured his index finger. Cotchery is the team leader with 54 catches and will not play in todays game against the Miami Dolphins. It looks like Clemens will have to make passes to Eric Smith and Wallace Wright today. Both teams s eem to be struggling on offense and defense. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Today Gang Green faces the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas. It has been a short week for the Jets, but I think we can pull off another win today. Back in 1999, the Jets beat Dallas 22-21 on a John Hall field goal. Clemens must play well and Thomas Jones must carry the ball at lest 30 time him to be effective. Kerry Rhodes and Shaun Ellis must be able to contain T.O. Jets defense has to play well. Darrelle Revis will have his hands full having to guard Terrell Owens must get help from Rhodes. Questionable are Laverneus Coles (ankle) Dewayne Robertson (knee) and S Eric Smith (concussion).

This Sunday in Buffalo, the Jets will try to win their second game of this young season. The Great Eric Manginis 3-4 defense is not all cracked up to be. According to Newsday Eric Mangini should get rid of that defense. In 2005 Manginis defense gave up 330.2 yards per game which ranked 26th in the league. However, in that same year Tom Brady and company scored more points than their opponents did. Mangini has to fill the positions with the right players to be effective. Case being that Robertson is under sized for a nose tackle.
