All media is on Jacob Bender’s performance on Sunday

September 06, 2007 By: Craig Category: Jacob Bender, NFL, New York Jets

On Sunday, the real test for Mr. Bender begins.  Jacob has had a decent preseason.  During the Giants game, he had gotten beaten badly by defensive lineman.  When the Jets played against Philadelphia, Jacob was having a better game.  It must of been because Jacob was feeling more confident in his position.  When Sunday’s game comes around, will Jacob Bender have butterflies or will he stand up to the pressure of New England?

Three Big Issues for Eric Mangini and the Jets

September 03, 2007 By: Craig Category: Darrelle Revis, Die Hard Jets Fan, Eric Mangini, Jacob Bender, NFL, New York Jets, Pete Kendall, Thomas Jones

Three large issues for Mangini’s Jets to be concerned about are: 1) Pete Kendall being traded to Washington.  Jacob Bender will not be able to fill the gap at left guard.  2) Thomas Jones was picked up in off season to be in the back field where the Jets were ranked 20th.  Thomas Jones may have run for 250 yards the last 2 years, but hasn’t played or practice in 3 weeks.  Will he be ready for Sept. 9th?  3) Is Darrelle Revis, who held out for 3 weeks looked good against the Giants, really going to be ready for the New England Patriots? (New York Post)

JETS ARE STICKING WITH JACOB BENDER AT LEFT GUARD

August 31, 2007 By: Craig Category: Die Hard Jets Fan, Eric Mangini, Jacob Bender, NFL, New York Jets, Pete Kendall

Jacob Bender will be the starting guard on Sept. 9th against NewEngland.  Eric Mangini and Mike Tannenbaum have decided to-stay with Jac0b Bender at left guard.  Tannenbaum isn’t going to look for an experienced guard to fill Pete Kendall’s place. Eric Mangini has lots of potential for Mr. Bender.  At this time, there aren’t to many free agent guards  that have as much experience as Pete Kendall.

NOT A GOOD NIGHT FOR JACOB BENDER

August 26, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Die Hard Jets Fan, Jacob Bender, NFL, New York Jets

Jacob Bender’s night wasn’t what he wanted.  Jacob, coming from Nicholls State, was supposed to play backup to Pete Kendall at Left guard. The Jets, after making the trade 24 hours ago, threw Jacob Bender out there againts the Giants last night. Bender on third down play was embarrassed by Justin Tuck with a move to-the-outside, for which Chad Pennington was sacked. My question is will Jacob Bender survive his mistakes, and start at left guard on Sept. 9th against the New England Patriots?
