Jets are a team that had a destiny this year

October 23, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Die Hard Jets Fan, Eric Mangini, Kellen Clemens, NFL, New York Jets

The Jets are a team without destiny. All news media is surrounded by what Mangini said yesterday. Eric is going to do an evaluation on all his players and decide who plays and does not play. I thought this was professional football not gym class. Jets defense cannot tackle for their life. Chad and the offense are not much better, with Chad throwing six interceptions in the last four games. Those int’s cost Gang Green 4 wins. Instead of being5 and 2, the Jets are 1 and 6. Big difference. Now’s the time to play Kellen Clemens and bench Pennington. Drastic changes are in order for the Jets in weeks ahead.

Five reasons to help fix the Jets

October 11, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Eric Mangini, Kellen Clemens, Leon Washington, NFL

After reading today’s article in Newsday, It tells me that what I was saying all along. Five reasons why where losing. 1) time to run Thomas Jones, Jones needs to carry the ball a minimum of 25 times to perform, 2)defense needs to wake up and Blitz, 3)I have also said to get physical and emotional, 4)Leon Washington needs to be in more plays on offense. 5) My biggest concern is when Mangini is going to pull Chad Pennington. It is time for Clemens to take control of the offense.

The colapse of New York

October 11, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Die Hard Jets Fan, Eric Mangini, Kellen Clemens, New York Jets

The colapse of the New York Jets is disgusting. New York is ranked 28th in defense and 29th in offense, with all the professional players they have, Gang Green should not be 1-4. Eric Mangini thinks that everything will work out. If Mangini cannot get his coaches and players on the same page, there is no way that the Jets will make 8-8 yet make the play-offs. According to Mangini they need consistency to win games. It goes to say Mr. Mangini will not take any blame for their preformance on the field. According to Mangini, Chad Pennington will start on Sunday. After Chad costing his team two games with five interceptions in the 4th quarter. What will it take for the management to start Kellen Clemens.

Chad Pennington must go after 5 interceptions

October 08, 2007 By: Craig Category: Andre Dyson, Chad Pennington, Die Hard Jets Fan, Eric Mangini, Kellen Clemens, New York Jets

Yesterdays defeat by the New York Giants was crushing to us. In the first half, everything went Gang Greens way. Rhodes forces a fumble and carries it in for 6 points. The Jets seen to have there way with the Giants. Keeping Big Blues defense away from Chad Pennington to which he was able to see his receivers, and complete passes. Thomas Jones who had a big 36 yards on 13 carries does not help the offense. Jones was supposed to be a game breaker runner has not lived up to any expectations for the fans. It is time to replace Chad Pennington with Kellen Clemens as starter. Chad cost the Jets their last two games with 4TH quarter interceptions, which resulted in touchdowns for Buffalo and New York. I as a fan cannot stand an watch Mangini keep saying that Chad Pennington is the starter for Gang Green. Yesterdays loss was partly do to lack of tackling. Andre Dyson missed a tackle on Plexico Burress who stood there and waited for Plexico to step out of bounds, in, which he did not, Andre was to tackle him. The Jets defense made a few mistakes, but the ones they did were costly. Kerry Rhodes who had an outstanding day after starting the season so poorly. If the Jets played, their FIRST thirty minutes in the second half Gang Green would have beaten Big Blue badly. That did not happen so my Jets have to fight back and win their next three games to start.

October 06, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Die Hard Jets Fan, Eric Mangini, Eric Smith, Erik Coleman, Kellen Clemens, NFL, New York Jets

Chad Pennington had limited practices this week. Kellen Clemens took more time with the first string this week. According to must articles Mangini is being quiet about Chads ankle and if he is going to start Sunday.

Jets best kept secret Chris Baker

September 25, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chris Baker, Eric Mangini, Kellen Clemens, NFL, New York Jets

Chris Baker the unsung player for Gang Green. Yes Chris Baker only has four catches in three games, oh how big they are. Sunday against Miami Chris catches a touchdown pass form Chad Pennigton with 2 seconds left in the first half. In week, two against Baltimore Chris caught a TD from Kellen Clemens and a big first down. Chris Baker would like more opportunities to have more passes thrown to him. However, with all Manginis receivers it is hard to put Chris into play situations. Chris job is mainly to block for his offensive line and running backs.(Newsday)

Chad Pennington will be ready for Sunday

September 20, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Eric Mangini, Justin McCareins, Kellen Clemens, NFL, New York Jets

Chad Pennington has been practicing with the first string this week. Eric Mangini is keeping close lip on who will start on Sunday. According to the article in today’s post, Chad was ready for last week’s game in Baltimore. Chad Pennington is a person who will fight through an injury play. As of today, Chad has been putting a lot of pressure on his ankle. What fate lies ahead for Kellen Clemens? Justin McCareins is looking forward instead of the past. Justin said he should have caught both passes, but his teammates are sticking behind him. (Post)

Three positives from yesterday’s loss

September 17, 2007 By: Craig Category: Die Hard Jets Fan, Jerricho Cotchery, Kellen Clemens, NFL, New York Jets, Thomas Jones

Yesterday, the Jets almost made a great comeback.  However, not to be had.  The Jets players like Jericho Cotchery, Thomas Jones, and Kellen Clemens.  Jericho, who almost broke Keyshawn Johnson’s record for most passing yardage in a single game, had seven catches for 165 yards.  Thomas Jones did not have a breakout game.  Thomas ran for 67 yards on 24 carries.  He is getting better.  Kellen Clemens went 19 for 37 260 yards passing and one touchdown.  Also, he threw one interception.  Kellen had three passes dropped by players that would have tied the game at 20 all.  We, the Jets fan, mostly look at the positive side of yesterday’s defeat against Baltimore. Kellen Clemens played well against Baltimore

September 16, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chris Davis, Die Hard Jets Fan, Jerricho Cotchery, Justin McCareins, Kellen Clemens, Laveranues Coles, NFL, New York Jets

Today, Kellen Clemens had a banner day in the second half.  Kellen was beaten up by Baltimore’s defense in the first half.  The Jets offensive line came together for Kellen.  Starting the 4th quarter down 20-3, Kellen made a 42 yard pass to Kevin Cocthery.  However, the Jets could not score a touchdown, and they had to settle for a field goal.  With 6 minutes left in the game, Kellen took the Jets down for a touchdown with a pass to tight end Chris Baker.  The defense had held Baltimore.  The Jets got the ball back with 3 minutes left in the game.  Kellen drove the Jets down field.  Mangini’s Jets had three blown chances 1) dropp by McCareins 2) low throw to Coles and 3) tip off McCareins hand.

Today we see what Kellen Clemens has to offer

September 16, 2007 By: Craig Category: Chad Pennington, Kellen Clemens, NFL, New York Jets, Thomas Jones

Today, the Jets face a tough Baltimore defense who lost their own game against the Bengals last week.  Tomas Jones, who started off last week with only 42 yards, plans on having a big day in Baltimore with Clemens playing quarterback.  As of this morning Chad Pennington was on the field trying to put weight on his ankle.
