Offensive line must communicate

September 29, 2007 By: Craig Category: Die Hard Jets Fan, New York Jets, Nick Mangold, Pete Kendall

Communication is the key to the Jets offensive line. According to the reports of players and coaches, the team must be able to communicate with each other. Pete Kendall was a big factor in the offensive line with his verbal communication to his teammates. With the loss of Kendall, Nick Mangold has stepped up to take his place. Nick states all players must be involved with each play. The Jets must form a band of togetherness if they want to protect their leader Chad Pennington

Nick Mangold’s Postion at Center Holds True

August 22, 2007 By: Craig Category: NFL, New York Jets, Nick Mangold, Pete Kendall

Last year, when everybody wasn’t happy, the Jets didn’t resign Kevin Mawae. Kevin was considered the best center in the NFL. The Jets had drafted Nick Mangold out of Ohio State.  Nick wasn’t expected to play, but do to injuries he got his shot a starting. After an outstanding rookie year, Nick is looking forward to having a great year . Also in the news is Pete Kendall, everyday all everybody talks about is the veteran left guard not being happy with the Jets.  Eric Mangini is playing with Pete’s head. One day we’ll play him at center, the next we play him at left guard. If Pete Kendall wants to be released then the Jets owe it to him.
