Communication is the key to the Jets offensive line. According to the reports of players and coaches, the team must be able to communicate with each other. Pete Kendall was a big factor in the offensive line with his verbal communication to his teammates. With the loss of Kendall, Nick Mangold has stepped up to take his place. Nick states all players must be involved with each play. The Jets must form a band of togetherness if they want to protect their leader Chad Pennington

Three large issues for Mangini’s Jets to be concerned about are: 1) Pete Kendall being traded to Washington. Jacob Bender will not be able to fill the gap at left guard. 2) Thomas Jones was picked up in off season to be in the back field where the Jets were ranked 20th.  Thomas Jones may have run for 250 yards the last 2 years, but hasn’t played or practice in 3 weeks. Will he be ready for Sept. 9th? 3) Is Darrelle Revis, who held out for 3 weeks looked good against the Giants, really going to be ready for the New England Patriots? Jacob Bender will be the starting guard on Sept. 9th against NewEngland. Eric Mangini and Mike Tannenbaum have decided to-stay with Jac0b Bender at left guard. Tannenbaum isn’t going to look for an experienced guard to fill Pete Kendall’s place. Eric Mangini has lots of potential for Mr. Bender. At this time, there aren’t to many free agent guards  that have as much experience as Pete Kendall.

Last year, when everybody wasn’t happy, the Jets didn’t resign Kevin Mawae. Kevin was considered the best center in the NFL. The Jets had drafted Nick Mangold out of Ohio State. Nick wasn’t expected to play, but do to injuries he got his shot a starting. After an outstanding rookie year, Nick is looking forward to having a great year . Also in the news is Pete Kendall, everyday all everybody talks about is the veteran left guard not being happy with the Jets. Eric Mangini is playing with Pete’s head. One day we’ll play him at center, the next we play him at left guard. If Pete Kendall wants to be released then the Jets owe it to him.

Pete Kendall, was not happy to play center Friday night against the Vikings. Pete was the long snapper which didn’t help the Jets. What’s Mangini thinking trying to make Pete a center. Yesterday, Pete had to play center with the second team, while Adrain Clarke gets to play with the starters.

Pete Kendall, isn’t happy about to be playing on the second team on Fridays’ game against the Falcons. Disgruntled by his salary, Pete has made it known that he would like to be released by the JETS organization. Chad Pennington, who is looking really good through practices, will have a chance to be calling his own plays.
